Hey everyone!! I am Brooklyn. This is my dog named Kira... I love her VERY much!! We got her from Santa on Christmas day! First we opened almost all our presents. Then we wanted to go outside to play and found some dog toys on the porch. We thought that Santa accidentally dropped it off at the wrong house. Then we heard some barking coming from the front door. We went out the front door and saw Kira in a reindeer costume! We were shocked. We never had a dog before. Then we saw a note that read:

        Dear Johnson Family, my name is Kira. I am 2 years old. I love to play in water and am a LITTLE crazy. I am a black lab and love to play tug-a-war. I love to cuddle and for people to pet me all the time. I want to be loved with a nice, lovable, family, and hope you are the family I have been looking for.

      We have had Kira for 3 years and she is the best dog EVER!! She might be able to meet you to... BYE!! 

  

 

The Theatre



My mom found out they were having auditions of Sound of Music play. I had to practice 2 songs. One from The Sound of Music and one from Annie called "Maybe." I also had to do a monologue. I picked one from the movie "Tangled." We drove for like 30 minutes to get there. After we got there I was nervous and excited at the same time because I was auditioning for the play. I handed the music books to the piano guy and gave my picture and other important things to the judge and talked to the piano guy for a second. I went up the stage and started singing and performing. First of all, I was so exited that the judge picked me! Second of all, I was exited that I went to round 2! and third of all,  I passed round 3, and round 4 I messed up so badly I almost started to cry!It was the singing part it goes like this, So long fair well I'll auf wiedersen (all-fed-er-zang-) good night. I hate to go and leave this pretty sight. But instend I sang to late and said, So long fair well I'll mmm'mmm'mmm tonight I hate to go and leave this be...autiful sight.Then I ran off the stage I told some of my friends how bad I was. One of my friends was so good singing I just wish I was her when that happend. But luckily,the judges gave me another chance so that means I went to level 5! So level 5 is were lots of judges are there! And thats were we practice in this picture. The judges were busy trying to find who they want to be in the play so we had entertainment by telling each other jokes. One of the jokes I said was, "What's red; white and black all over?" A panda bear with a rash,lol. Finally it was time to practice performing. Lots of kids were really good. They didn't pick me at the end because they didn't know where to put me. Here's all the characters: Maria, Marta, Gretel (of course), Fredrich; Louisa, Kurt and Brigitta. First, they put had me read Gretel's part and act in her part which I don't know WHY. Maybe because I'm too small for the rest. One of Gretel's parts is: "Gretl and I'm this many (holds up 6 fingers). How many are you?" And another one is: "What's in there?"

 

 The 3rd girl on the right has the best singing voice I ever heard of. The judges said if they call me on Monday then I'll be in the play but they didn't call me. So I didn't get to be in the play. I hope I could be in another play again sometime because it's so fun and I really want to be in the play next time. See ya later! Hope you be in a theatre sometime!

The great and powerful Kira!



This is my dog. In this picther we dicided to let Kira be a princess

She has a worn out scarf,a teara, and a beautiful skirt,and a thing on her arm.  Me and my sisters were trying to do a commercial on her for the prettyist dog in the whole entire weirdest crazzzzzzzzyestttttttttttt world!!!!!!!!!!   (litterly it's CRAZY) lets get back to the subject.Well anyway, she was only a princess for umm...about 3 minutes, but she looks like she's smiling in the picture, so I think she liked it...

 

 

 



 This is at our old house when we got Kira for Christmas. Santa surprised us VERY much. We wished for a little puppy, but a big dog is good enough. Kira is sometimes very jumpy around other people or when we're playing around with her.

This is when we got Kira her new kennel. I think she loved it at first sight, but then she kinda likes laying on the floor...We got her a bark collar because she likes to bark at other people. Not because she doesn't like them, but because she's excited to meet them...I think that Kira is great and powerful and awesome...and she also likes to lay on my bed and cuddle. I LOVE KIRA!  

 



Cornbelly Girls

Well, as you can see from the title that we went to cornbellys.

Cornbelly's is a place you can do Fall activities, like a kids cornmaze

and other fun activities...

  if you look at the picture, you can see we aren't smiling, lol.

If you look close to the picture you can see that we have a piece of hay

in our mouths. And so, we can't really smile with it in there, so...

 

This is me driving the Princess to her castle. I wanted to look spooky with a cape on.

By the way, the seat was pretty warm and cozy, lol...

 

This rocking chair makes me feel like I'm SO small! Like a mouse! lol

 

I thought this was pretty cool, because, well...Dad decided to take us on a bus drive.

 

What if the tractor was actually working??! Don't you think we're going to go

round and round and round?  

 

My favorite part was the pig races. We got to pet the pig that was laying down

in the hay being lazy. I also got to go in a scary lizard's body!

It made weird breathing noises.

It was good weather when all of this happened...not too cold,

and not too hot. I wished we could get some ice cream cones or something.

I LOVE Cornbelly's!

I hope we can go back next year!

The Girl Who Wanted a Friend

 Once upon a time there was a girl named Morgan and she wanted a friend.  She had just moved in to the neighborhood. One day she was eating a fish taco for lunch, and the door bell rang. She was scared to open it because she just moved in and didn’t know anyone in the neighborhood. But she opened it anyway because she was curious who it was.

Nobody was there, but then she looked down on the porch, and there was a lemon in a napkin. She took the lemon inside, and squeezed the lemon on her taco.  A seed from the lemon fell on the table.

The seed said, “ahhhh! You’re a monster!” 

”Whoa!  exclaimed Morgan, “I didn’t know seeds could talk! I’m not a monster!” she said. “I can take care of you.”

“Okay,” said the seed. “I guess you’re not a monster after all.”

“I’ll show you around, “ Morgan said. She showed him his bed in the dollhouse and his tiny clothes and his teeny toothbrush and his car that actually belongs to Ken and Barbie doll.  Morgan thought and thought. “Hmmm…” she thought. She said in her mind, “maybe we can be friends??  Can we be friends?” she thought.  “Ok” she mumbled…

“Come on,” the seed interrupted.

“Wait!” she said.

The seed said, “what??”

“Can…….we…….be….fr…..ien…….ds?”  Morgan said slowly.

“Well, “ said the seed, “ I was thinking that too. “

“Come on,” said Morgan.

The seed said, “let’s go to the movies.”

I hope you learned a lesson that even though you moved into a new neighborhood, you can still make new friends, even if they’re different. 

My Baptism Day

When I was going to church I was so ixitede to git baptist!

I was running,........running .........fast.

Because well.........because .........I WAS EXCITED!!!!!!

you  know that you never git  baptist whin your seven........

ixpeshil younger then seven!thats why it's the first time ever!

Before my baptism me and my

D-A-D, went out in the hall and took a picture.

After we took the picture, me and my dad walked down into the water.

The water was really warm. I was nervous, so I didn't watch the other people looking at me.

So my dad said the baptism prayer, and when he was done,

he tipped me into the water and put me back up.

That was the best time of my life I tell ya!

When I got out I was shaking cold! I went back in to change my clothes.

My mom helped me, just to let you know.

I felt the Holy Ghost inside me just whispering inside my head, and he said

"Good job for doing a right choice."

I felt happy and warm inside and I KNEW I did the right choice.

Well, this is my friend Davis. We were baptized on the same day.
You know, something about Davis is that he's kind of coo-coo around here
because he was about to put bunny ears behind me in the picture.
But good thing I caught him...Well, anyway, the other picture...he's not coo-coo...

This white dress that I'm wearing used to be my older sister's dress,
so that's why it's so long.

This is my dad and my mom. We took a picture together because, well...
it was a special day.

This is me and my grandpa and grandma. We have lots of fun together...
You know, something special about my grandpa is that he comes to our house
 and picks us up and drives us to get a jr frosty!
And something about my grandma is that she gives us gum; takes care of us
and colors funny pictures with us.

This is my great grandma and grandpa. They live like 1 minute away.
So on my baptism they came over and watched me. My grandma, she makes toys.
And my grandpa, well...he's funny and gives us good hugs.

As you know, this is, well...me! Don't I just look...fabulous?

These are my aunts...guess which one is me? I hope you guessed it right.

We were being crazy and having lots of fun...I wish I can do that again.

This is the most exciting-est day of my life!

I'm so glad I got baptized!

Jaida

This is my grandma's dog. Her name is Jaida. She likes to eat food. If you say, "Jaida, is it time to eat?!" Then she runs down the stairs and barks and goes crazy.
One day, when me and my grandpa went to get ice cream, we took Jaida with us. Jaida was very crazy in the car. And that's why I like Jaida. Sometimes she jumps up on my lap and lies down. And when I'm on the computer, Jaida jumps on my lap and I laugh.

One day, me and my mom went to a store and saw a Mrs Claus dress for dogs, so I said, "let's get it! Let's get it!" So we came home with the dress and put it on Jaida. And I said, " wow! She looks cute!" I LOVE Jaida...
